Bio - Founder of Enformini
Houssam Eddine Beggas is a global engagement professional with extensive experience in communications, political affairs, and international partnerships. Fluent in Arabic, English, and French, Houssam has dedicated his life’s work to bridging cultural and linguistic bridges and robust stakeholder networks. His expertise spans a variety of fields, including journalism, translation services, and advisory roles, showcasing his versatility and reach.
In his current role as Director of Enformini Translation Services in Muscat, Oman, Houssam has established a company that provides high-quality translation, proofreading, and interpretation services in Arabic, English, and French. His previous positions include serving as a Global Engagement Advisor at McGill University, where he managed over 100 international partnerships and strengthened data-driven decision-making tools. Houssam played a pivotal role in launching a youth-centric NGO at the Alsaid Foundation, shaping its media strategy and building a network of international panelists and donors.
Houssam's career is marked by significant contributions to diverse institutions, such as his work on peacebuilding in Yemen and Libya as a Research Assistant at the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies at Seton Hall University and his communications advising role with the World Bank Group in Algiers. His extensive journalistic experience include roles at 6 Algerian and Pan-Arab television channels including Al Jazeera TV, where he hosted and contributed to current events and diplomatic affairs shows. Houssam holds a Master’s Degree in Diplomacy and International Relations from Seton Hall University, a Master’s Degree in Journalism and Communications from the Higher National School of Journalism and a Bachelers Degree in Translation and Intepretation from Constantine University in Algeria. His academic achievements are complemented by his selection as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar, highlighting his dedication to advancing international understanding and cooperation.
